I was born in Jamaica.  I lived there until I was 4. I lived in Venezuela from ages 4-8. I moved to California when I was almost 8. I am fully bilingual in Spanish.  I have an amazing husband that I have been married to for 24 years. I also have 2 sons, age 17 and 20. My youngest will be graduating from high school at the end of this school year, which is so hard to believe!  I have two teaching credentials. One is in elementary education and the other in music education.  I originally thought that I was going to be a middle school band director. I recently went back to school, which was a huge step for me, and  received my Master's degree 5 years ago. My master's degree is in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages.  It has been an amazing feeling to have accomplished my Master's, which I couldn't have done without the love and support of my family. I love animals and had wanted to be a veterinarian for a very long time. I may be musical but I am not very artistic. Lol!
