The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has authorized $500 million in additional funding for the USDA Farmers to Families Food Box Program. The food box program is one of many recent efforts by the USDA to continue providing critical support to the American people.
- LEUSD will host a drive through Free Food Box Distribution Event on Wednesday, November 18, between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m., 550 Birch Street, Lake Elsinore, CA 92530. LEUSD is an equal opportunity provider.
- Each food box will include precooked meat to feed a family of 4-5 for a week.
- Food boxes will be distributed on a first come, first served basis.
- Wear facial coverings and please stay inside your vehicle for this drive through event!
USDA’s Farmers to Families Food Box Program was created to ensure Americans in need are able to feed themselves and their families. This program continues the purchase of combination boxes to include fresh produce, dairy products, fluid milk and meat products starting in November, 2020.
