I am thrilled to welcome you all to a new school year at Rice Canyon Elementary! I hope you’ve had a wonderful summer filled with fun and relaxation. We are excited to have our hallways, playgrounds, and classrooms buzzing with energy, laughter, and learning once again. Our dedicated team of teachers and staff have been hard at work preparing for another successful year filled with engaging learning opportunities, new friendships, and memorable experiences!

In addition to being a high achieving academic school, one of the things I am most proud of is the Rice Canyon culture of kindness, respect, and high expectations for all that has been developed and nurtured over years. Raptors are a family, and we take the the academic and social-emotional growth of each student to heart. Likewise, our staff is an a close knit group of talented educators committed to providing a safe, loving environment where every student feels valued and inspired to reach their full potential in and out of the classroom.

As we embark on this new journey together, I encourage students to be curious, ask questions, and explore new ideas. Remember, our school community is here to support you every step of the way. Parents are always welcome to visit with school administration and to ask questions and solve concerns as well!
